A man accused of starving two horses turns himself in to Wyoming County authorities.

Donnie Ellis, 27, surrendered to sheriff's deputies this morning.  He's charged with two counts of animial cruelty.  Deputies say he was supposed to take care of four horses at a Reedy Creek farm, but two of them weren't fed or given water.

"When we arrived on scene, myself and the humane officer arrived on scene on the 25th, where the horses were, we saw no water," says Lt. B.G. Ellison of the Wyoming County Sheriff's Dept.  "The only feed we saw was the hay that was covering up the dead horse."

Ellison also says the other two horses were outside and could get to food and water.  Ellis is out on fifteen thousand dollars bond.
