One Warm Day Left....For Now, Feels More Like December Mid-Week!
Good Tuesday Morning Friends!
A lot of smiles were seen across the Two Virginia’s as folks were out and about enjoying temperatures that reached into the mid and upper 60s on our Monday. We will do about the same with an increase in the cloud cover though the afternoon hours. Cold front will move into the region by around dinner time (~6pm) and should last the first half of the overnight. It will begin to taper off by the morning hours, but expect to have the umbrella handy on your morning commute Wednesday. Also, bring along a thicker jacket as you head to work, chances are you will need it by the evening hours and temperatures will steadily drop throughout Wednesday and we will start Thursday off on the chilly side. For those of you dreading the cold weather, I have good news....this cool down does not last long. Only problem with the warm up heading into the weekend, it will also reintroduce the chance of showers to the forecast. You win some and you lose some battles, I suppose?
Today: Partly cloudy with more clouds by the afternoon and a couple stray showers not out of the question. Highs: 54-65. Winds: SW 10-20 mph.
Tonight: Periods of showers with some moderate to heavy downpours. This should start to taper off by dawn. Lows: 40-52. Winds: SW-NW 6-12 mph.
Wednesday: A couple showers early with gradual clearing through the afternoon. Highs: 47-54...dropping throughout the day.
Thursday: After a chilly start, mostly sunny. A typical December day. Highs: 42-52.
Friday: Partly cloudy. Highs: 45-55.
Saturday: Partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers possible. Highs: 52-62.
