Short Lived Cool Spell Coming:
The calendar reads December 3, but honestly it feels more like April 3 across the mountains of southern West Virginia. We saw temperatures climb into the mid 60s to low 70s today after just a few morning showers. Tomorrow will be just as warm if not warmer, but then we get a brief break for the warm weather. A cold front will dive into our neck of the woods tomorrow night bringing gusty winds and a few showers overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Wednesday will be noticeably cooler with highs only topping out in the upper 40s and we remain cool but dry on Thursday. Warm weather fans won't be disappointed though, we're back to the 60s by the weekend.
Tonight: A few clouds and warm. Lows in the lower 50s.
Tuesday: Sunny early with evening showers and maybe a rumble of thunder. Winds will be a bit gusty. Highs in the upper 60s.
Wednesday: Morning rain with clearing by the afternoon. Highs in the upper 40s, lows near 40.
Thursday: Clear and cooler. Lows in the lower 30s, highs in the mid 40s.
Friday: Partly cloudy with showers late. Highs in the lower 50s, lows in the upper 20s.
