Warm Start to December:

It's been a gorgeous day of weather across the mountains of southern West Virginia featuring mild temperatures and a mix of sun and clouds.  The nice weather is thanks to an area of high pressure which will be sticking around for most of the weekend.  Our next chance of rain comes late Sunday as a weak cold front drops into the region.  It's only a slight chance of rain late, but better chance are in the forecast Tuesday night as a more potent front comes in.  This one knocks our temperatures back down into the 50s for highs and lows in the 20s and 30s.

StormWatch Forecast:

Tonight:  Mostly clear.  Lows in the mid 30s.

Saturday:  Sunny and warm.  Highs in the lower 60s.

Sunday:  Sunny early with a few showers possible late.  Highs in the lower 60s, lows in the lower 40s.

Monday:  A stray pop up shower possible on what should be a partly sunny day.  Highs in the lower 60s, lows in the mid 40s.

Tuesday:  Cloudy with showers in the afternoon.  Highs in the lower 60s, lows in the upper 40s.

Wednesday:  Early showers with partly cloudy skies.  Highs in the lower 40s, lows in the lower 30s.
