The investigation continues in the daylight hours.  It is a joint effort by the State Fire Marshal's Office, the Beckley Fire Department, the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department, and the Raleigh County Sheriff's Department.

"We'll continue right now with the investigation which is going to be somewhat lengthy due to the fact we still have a lot of smouldering fire active inside the building," Alderman said, "So before we can put all our people inside, we have to render the conditions safe first."

Alderman also said he cannot disclose whether the fire is suspicious, or where the victim was found.
