Light Showers For the Afternoon, Then Cool Temperatures

Good Morning! If you didn't get out to enjoy the gorgeous weather yesterday, I hate to say it, but unfortunately we have some big changes in our forecast. Today we will start off partly cloudy before seeing
increasing cloud coverage and some light afternoon showers. Temperatures will still be on the mild side in the mid 50's. Tonight we could see a few of those showers switch to a wintery mix before switching over to snow for Saturday morning as our temperatures will drop into the low 20's. We aren't expecting any major accumulations. Higher elevations could see some minor accumulations, but for the rest of us we will just see a few flakes out there. This is all thanks to a cold front that will be pushing through this afternoon. The main story with this front will be the much cooler air behind it. Temperatures for the day Saturday are not expected to pass 35 degree, so it certainly will be a chilly one. Sunday brings the sunshine back, however the cooler air will be sticking around as we will see highs only getting into the low 40's.

Extended Forecast:

Today: Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy with afternoon showers. Breezy with highs in the mid  50's and lows in the mid 30's.

Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy, cold with snow showers. Less than an inch of accumulation expected. Highs in the mid 30's and lows in the mid 20's.

Sunday: Partly cloudy with highs in the lower 40's and lows in the lower 20's.

Monday
: Mostly clear with highs in the lower 50's and lows in the upper 20's.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with showers. Highs in the upper 40's and lows in the mid 30's.

Wednesday
: Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and snow showers. Highs in the mid  30's and lows in the mid 20's.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with highs near 50. Lows in the upper 20's.
