VIDEO INCLUDED: Home Invasion Sends Two To the Hospital

UPDATE: Two Detroit men are sent to the hospital early this morning after a home invasion turns violent in Fayette County.

It happened around one this morning on Lynch Harper Road in Minden.  The Sheriff's Department says Jorail Giddings, 21, was shot during the robbery.  He was taken to a Charleston hospital where he is in stable condition.  Capt. Jim Sizemore says they're looking for three black men who were wearing ski masks at the time.  He also says this is the second home invasion at this residence this year.  Drugs are believed to be a factor in both incidents.  Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (304) 255-7867 or the Fayette County Sheriff's Department.

ORIGINAL STORY: Two people are sent to the hospital early Thursday morning after a home invasion turns violent in Fayette County.

Captain Jim Sizemore with the Fayette County Sheriff's Department says it was a home invasion style robbery. It happened around 1 a.m. Thursday on Lynch Harper Road in Minden. One person was flown to CAMC and is stable condition, the other suffered multiple blows to the head and was treated and released at Plateau Medical Center.

The suspects are described as three black men all wearing masks at least one was armed with a handgun, one is described as tall, skinny and light skinned, another is described as short and chubby. There's no description on the third suspect at this time, no vehicle description either. The suspects stole money and took the victims' cell phones, neither victim was from the area.
