The investigation into the shooting in Princeton Wednesday night has been handed over to the prosecuting attorney to decide whether charges should be filled.
Just after 4 o'clock an altercation over family issues got so heated between Eddie Harmon, 30, and Michael Cardwell, 34, it led to gun fire. When police arrived at Harmon's residence, on 407 Bee Street, Cardwell was dead. Detectives say witnesses are key in this particular case.
"This case was very important, it was a missing piece of the puzzle that we needed and for us. It is very good that he stuck around and was able to talk to us," said Lt. John Howell.
Though no charges have yet to be filed against Harmon, the investigation continues into the shooting.
