Officials in one of the hardest hit counties are making sure everything's ready for Tuesday's election.
Nicholas County Clerk Audra Deitz says all precincts had power restored over the weekend. As many as eleven precincts were without power as of last Friday. County officials also had tents ready to go in case one of the precincts didn't have electricity on tuesday, but they were diverted to other parts of the state after service was restored.
"After I checked a couple of the precincts Sunday and found there was power, I called and they diverted two of them to Buckhannon," she says.
Deitz also says last week's storm didn't affect early voting that much. More than 1,600 votes were cast during the two week period in the county
