Police said it was a good prescription, but a bad check.
Derrick Leon Wood was arrested after he went to the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Rainelle and turned in a legitimate prescription for oxycodone. When Wood went to pay he laid down a check that bounced and ran out of the pharmacy.
Hinton Police picked up Wood hours later and he was charged with Obtaining Prescription Drugs Under Fraud.
He was arraigned Friday night, but has since posted bond.
