Election day is fast approaching and time is running out to to make sure your voice is heard.
Any resident who still needs to register to vote in the upcomming general election must do so by October 16th. Early voting begins October 24th and runs through November 3rd. If you wish to vote early you may do so at the Memorial Building in Fayetteville from 8 AM until 4 PM, Monday through Friday and the two Saturdays before the election. Registering to vote is a simple and easy process.
"You can get the form online at wvsos.com and as long as you have that post-marked by October 16th you're in time to vote for the general election. You certainly can vote by registering to vote as any county clerks office in West Virginia." Fayette County Clerk Kelvin Holliday said.
Holliday also says this election is extremely important as it is not only for president, but the majority of state offices, as well as all county court positions except for the two clerks.
