A So/So Type of Weekend!

Good Friday Morning Everyone!

A very nice afternoon across the Two Virginia’s yesterday with temperatures into the mid 70s for most. Today will be the last day of this really warm weather for a long time. Highs back into the 70s, close to 80 in the Coal Fields with lots of sunshine. The football games tonight are looking great with comfortable conditions....clouds begin to increase gradually overnight. A few rain showers expected on Saturday...but, not as miserable as first thought. A lot of the precipitation with this cold front will dry out as it arrives across the region. It now looks that Sunday morning will be our best chance of a few showers when an area of low pressure will develop along the front. This second low will be the catalyst of pulling in the really cold air. I suspect some killing freezes are possible along the high terrain and even as far south as Beckley with temperatures Monday morning are expected to be around 30 degrees. We start a gradual warm up toward mid week with a chance of a few showers on Wednesday.
