Four Arrested for Stealing Copper Cables

Wyoming County authorities say four people have been arrested for allegedly stealing copper cables that cut 1,300 customers phone services.

Sheriff Randall Aliff said the four were arrested Thursday after allegedly trying to sell the stolen copper to a recycling center in Raleigh County.  Bobby Ray McKinney, 42, Nancy Tate, 46, and Tanya Jenkins, 35, all of Mullins and James Daniels, 56, of Rock View are charged with Grand Larceny, Felony Destruction of Property, and Theft Resulting in Loss of Phone Service.
