Cooling Down For the Weekend:
Good evening from the StromWatch Weather center on what's been a mild day across southern WV. Clouds have been building through the afternoon and we will see a few scattered storms this evening. Tomorrow will feature morning showers and some cloudy skies in the afternoon as a cold front pushed through the area. The bulk of the cold air moves in on Saturday, with another shot of cooler air entering the area Monday. Our next storm system will knock on the door of the mountains on Tuesday, bringing use another round of scattered showers.
Tonight: Scattered showers and mainly cloudy skies. Lows in the upper 50s.
Friday: Morning showers with clouds in the afternoon. Highs in the mid to upper 60s.
Saturday: Partly cloudy with a spotty shower possible and gusty winds. Highs in the upper mid 60s, lows in the mid 40s.
Sunday: A mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the upper 60s, lows in the lower 40s.
Monday: Clear and cool. Highs in the lower 60s, lows in the lower 40s.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy with a few showers. Highs in the mid 60s, lows in the mid 40s.
