Governor Tomblin is asking all West Virginians to give back to their community this weekend.

West Virginia, along with Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. are holding a day of service this Saturday.  More than 400 projects, ranging from coat drives to health screenings are scheduled throughout the state.

"I know the School of Osteopathic Medicine is giving away free health screenings all day long, a lot of food drives to help our food banks that were maxed out during the storm," he says.

On Wednesday, Tomblin also delivered thank you cards from Princeton children to first responders as part of the day of service.
