Raleigh County Man faces Arson and Murder Charges

BECKLEY-A Raleigh County Man Already Facing Arson And First-Degree Murder Charges Has His Arraignment Delayed. 36-Year-Old Carl Cox Is Charged With Killing 56-Year-Old David Davis By Setting Fire To His Trailer On The Night Of August 17Th. Autopsy Results On The Victim Confirmed Davis Died As A Result Of The Fire. Cox Scheduled To Be Arraigned Today In Front Of Magistrate Tomi Peck But Was Delayed Till Friday.

Police Say Davis Died Inside His Trailer On Jasper Lane In Soak Creek.  After His Home Caught Fire, the Fire Spread From Davis' Trailer And Damaged A Neighboring Unit. Five Area Fire Departments Responded To The Scene.. Resulting In Three Injured Firefighters Who Were Treated And Released From An Area Hospital. Authorities Say Cox Hasn't Been Much Help In The Investigation.
