RAINELLE -- The Rainelle Fall Festival kicks off this weekend and officials want to spend the last days of summer the right way.

The festival starts at 9 a.m. Saturday morning and parties into the night with plenty of music and entertainment. Officials say that this event is all about providing fun for the family and showing off what Rainelle has to offer.

Mayor Andrea Pendleton says “the fairs and festivals has allowed us to some income and to hire different people which we certainly appreciate, but it's important for you to come to Rainelle to see what we do and for the people to enjoy the arts here as well.”

The festival starts Saturday morning with a crafts and yard sale and plenty of other things to do for the whole family.
