BECKLEY -- With the start of school right around the corner, workers at Stanaford elementary in Beckley are in the kitchen. Workers spent the day cleaning the kitchen and unloading all the new food in preparation for tomorrow. Officials say that last year on the first day, Stanaford fed over 300 kids. Officials say that they're ready for all the smiling faces tomorrow.

Robin Martin, the cafeteria manager at Stanaford, says “we want everything nice and clean, which we keep it like that all year but you know smiles and some of them are crying in the morning and you just want it to look as nice as possible.”

Officials say they're expecting over 300 kids on the first day of school.
