BECKLEY -- The Appalachian Country Cloggers danced their way into hearts today at tamarack. Guests found their feet tapping along to the beat. The group showed off a variety of line dances and clogs.

Locals say that this type of culture and tradition is what sets West Virginia apart from many other states.

Linda Brown, a resident of Summersville, says “this culture is like a lost art, people are still tied to it through family so their carrying this tradition on and I’m glad he's still able to do it.”

The Appalachian Country Cloggers are a part of the national clogging hall of fame and have been around for more than 20 years.
