It's that time of year again, the time for the little bird to leave the nest and head off to college

ATHENS -- Concord University welcomed fall semester students on its annual move-in day, that also included their families. Check-ins began early yesterday, but today is when all students saw their dorm rooms.

For new students arriving to campus, the day means meeting new friends and learning the campus, but for the veterans, it's time to see their classmates from last year.

Berkley Lowe, a Sophomore at Concord, says “because I’m not a freshman anymore I kind of now the ropes now, I know more about my professors, i know more people, have more friends already I don't have to go through all the processes of trying to make new friends and find a new place to fit in anymore.”

Tomorrow all students will hit the books.
