OAK HILL -- The healthy home program made a stop today in oak hill at the department of health and human resources to educate the public on how to keep your home healthy.

Organizers from the group helped by giving useful tips to home owners, such as to keep the home dry, clean, and well-maintained. Officials say that the healthy home program received a grant back in April to help put on these programs.

Gerald Brown, the director of the Healthy Home Program, says “there is a lot of mold, moisture, and mildew in the air and it can cause you to have health problems and lung problems, there's a lot of bad health in this area anyway.”

Officials say that they're planning on having another class in Wyoming County in September.
