FAYETTEVILLE- Lesa Lewis was in court Tuesday for her alleged involvement in a June 2013 robbery in Smithers.
Lewis is charged with conspiracy to commit a felony, kidnapping and first-degree robbery. The charges stem from an incident on June 8th of last year during which Lewis and three others were accused of luring a man to a home, making him with withdraw money from his bank account, taking his belongings including his vehicle and throwing him in a river. Kenneth Essex and Devin Logan, both who were arrested as a result of last June's event's testified in court Tuesday afternoon. When asked, both identified Lewis as one of the women with them on the day of the alleged crime.
