MEADOW BRIDGE - Two Meadow Bridge men were arrested after authorities found a methamphetamine lab across from the elementary school.

Ronnie Gibson, 46, and Caleb Amick, 30, are each charged with operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab.

Officials with the State Police Detachment in Rainelle told Newswatch that police received a tip that the two were making meth at Amick's home across the street from Meadow Bridge Elementary. When troopers searched the home on July 28, they reportedly found items consistent with the "shake and bake" manufacturing method.

Amick posted bond and Gibson is in Southern Regional Jail on $35,000 bond. Additional charges may be pending of operating a drug lab within 500 feet of a school.
