Beckley Police arrest 16 people on prostitution charges

BECKLEY - Beckley Police arrested 16 people as part of an ongoing investigation into prostitution in the area.

Throughout the month of July, the Beckley Police Department conducted several undercover operations in an attempt to arrest prostitutes and people trying to pick up prostitutes, according to Lieutenant David Farley. During this time, ten men attempted to pick up a prostitute and were charged with solicitation of prostitution. Six women were charged with prostitution.

Farley said the department has been receiving complaints about prostitution and officers are working to arrest those responsible.

The following men were attempting to pick up a prostitute and are charged with solicitation of prostitution: Keith Vonscio, 53, of Beckley

Michael Rhodes, 46, of Beckley

Shannon Walker, 34, of MacArthur

Joseph Wickline, 45, of Beckley

James "JT" Bradley, 38, of Beckley (Bradley was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and DUI)

Frank Barnett, 55, of Beckley

Joe Boxley, 72, of Beckley

Eddie Fernatt, 55, of Beckley

William Sizemore, 51, of Beckley (Sizemore was also charged with 2nd offense driving on a suspended license)

James Wiley, 65, of Beckley

 

The following women are charged with prostitution:

Audrey Richmond, 35, of Beckley

Stephanie McClung,42, of Beckley

Kimberly McKinney, 27, of Beckley

Bobbie Kirksey, 27, of Beckley

Katelian Wilson, 23, of Eccles

Trinia Williams, 44, of Mabscott.
