BECKLEY- Hundreds of West Virginia coal miners will be heading to Pittsburgh Wednesday morning to take part in a regional coal rally.
Local miners will be meeting at Phillips in Beckley to park before driving together to the rally in Pennsylvania with others fighting for the coal industry. Governor Earl Ray Tomblin will be joined by Attorney General Patrick Morrisey on the trip. The purpose of the event is to make to public aware of the importance of coal and coal miner's to America's energy mix.
