Authorities in Greenbrier County on the lookout for robbery suspect

FAIRLEA - Authorities in Greenbrier County are on the lookout for the suspect of a robbery at a local gaming establishment.

The robbery happened before 11:55 p.m. Sunday at Abbie's in Fairlea, according to Chief Deputy Bruce Sloan with the Sheriff's Department. Sloan said the suspect indicated he had a weapon, but no weapon was displayed. 

The perpetrator took an undisclosed amount of cash and left the scene in an unknown direction, according to Sloan. 

The suspect is described as a white man with a medium build, around 5' 6" to 5'7" tall. He was reportedly wearing a green hoodie-type jacket and khaki pants. 

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about the suspect's identity is asked to contact the Sheriff's Department at 304-647-6634 or your local police department.
