PRINCETON- A prostitution sting in Mercer County has led to the arrest of three men.

Princeton police say they have arrested 52-year old Jerry Isom, 57-year old Tommy Lilly and 61-year old Gary Wills in connection to a police sting on Mercer Street in Princeton on Thursday.

Police say that stings of this nature are common in the summer and often successful. They had a cooperating female help with the investigation. Detectives say community involvement is crucial to solving the problem in town. Prostitution has been a growing problem in Princeton in recent years.

"Business owners are tired of seeing these girls standing around walking the streets trying to come in, use their bathroom every 10 to 15 minutes so it's grown a lot in the past couple of years. It's just all local girls that come to this one street in town and try to make it their home throughout the day," said Detective Bryan Grimm.

All three men were arraigned and sent to southern regional jail and bonded out.
