BECKLEY - A convicted felon is behind bars again after Raleigh County authorities said he was found with heroin and marijuana.

Beckley Police arrested Gregory Waters, 45, Monday night for two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin and one count of possession of marijuana.

Officer Chris Bloxton told Newswatch that Waters tried to ditch a gram of marijuana and 10 stamps of heroin before his arrest. Police later connected him to 22 more grams of marijuana and 39 stamps of heroin at a home on south French street that he is known to frequent.

The drugs have a reported street value of $1,500. Bloxton said $600 in cash was also seized.
