TALCOTT- People were out and about in Talcott on Sunday for the finale of John Henry Days.
A car show stole everyone's attention at the festival. More than 80 vehicles took part in the competition while live bands performed for entertainment. It's the 19th time that John Henry Days has been celebrated in the small town that dedicated the weekend. The event draws people from across the area. It was estimated that more than 5,000 people showed up Saturday.
"Just kind of laid back car show and everybody enjoys coming up. There's plenty of shade and trees here. Talcott fire department, they have, they do the concessions, have hot dogs and barbeque and everything over there so it works out pretty good," said Eddie Fernatt
