Princeton bank robbery suspect on the run

PRINCETON - A manhunt continues in Mercer County after a suspect holds up City National Bank.

The Mercer County Sheriff's Department is currently searching the area near the City National Bank in Princeton across from the visitors center. The investigation is still on going since the robbery happened around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon. Authorities say they are looking for a white male wearing a green long-sleeve shirt, camouflage pants and yellow gloves.

Mercer County Sheriff Department tells NewsWatch the suspect brandished a fire arm at the teller upon receiving an undisclosed amount of money.

"It's a semi automatic pistol. They entered with a gun, left with a gun, threatened somebody's life. Just listen to the description, if you're out around Mercer County, see somebody matching that description or if you're out during the time before, after or during the robbery this afternoon then you saw somebody near the 460 Greasy Ridge Road area matching that description call the sheriff office and let us know." FBI is also assisting in the investigation.
