A World War Two veteran is sharing his story with visitors at Tamarack today.

94-year old author Thurman Miller was signing copies of his book "Earned in Blood: My Journey From Old-Breed Marine to the Most Dangerous Job in America." In the book, Miller tells stories of his childhood, time served in World War Two and his life as a coal miner after the war. After sharing all his life experience, Miller spoke with Newswatch about what he hopes readers take away from his book.

"I want them to get a better feeling for the individual fighting man. Marine, soldier, sailor, coast guard, whatever" said Miller.

You can purchase miller's book on most major sites including Amazon and Barnesandnoble.com.
