Locals gathered in Fayetteville Friday morning to take part in the town's annual Independence Day parade. The festivities got underway at 11am and the activities will continued throughout the day. Entertainment included live music, vendors and games. The town park hosted fireworks at dusk. Attendees of the event showed off their patriotic side.
"It's just nice that we can all get together, we get to greet old friends we haven't seen for a long time and we get to show our patriotic side and just get to be together" said Patricia Syner.
