WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS - Tourism is at an all time high in Greenbrier County as golf pros and fans packed Greenbrier Resort and explored the downtown area of White Sulphur Springs.
With the PGA Tour making a stop in Greenbrier County, White Sulphur Springs is seeing an economic boost. Business owners and operators said they are grateful for events held at the Greenbrier Resort because of the influx they see in sales and revenue. Summer months are the busiest time of year with the PGA Tour and the excitement of the Saints training camp just around the corner.
Businesses in White Sulphur Springs welcomed tourists to come check out their downtown area.
Manager of local businesses, Sadie Fraley, said, "It's very important for a small business to have events like this to just boost the economy during the busy months and even during the winter."
