OAK HILL - Family of a missing Fayette County man have not stopped the search for him since he disappeared Tuesday.

Deputies with the Fayette County Sheriff's Office said their bloodhound team followed a track Sunday to a wooded area off Jones and Clay streets to look for 60-year-old William Claude Bruebaker.

He is described as a white male, 5-foot-8, very slender and 120 pounds.  He has salt-and-pepper hair and a mole under his right eye.

Bruebaker was last seen leaving his home on Gatewood Road at 2 p.m. His family told Newswatch they will continue to search.

He was last seen wearing black pants, a blue muscle shirt, a black ball cap, black and blue tennis shoes and sunglasses with blue lenses. He was also wearing a camouflage backpack while riding a black bicycle with baskets.

Family members believe he may have injured himself near the Minden cliffs, a place he liked to frequent.

Capt. Jim Sizemore said the investigation is ongoing. He won't eliminate foul play because there are more questions than answers.
