BECKLEY – Folks in Raleigh County are revving up for a fundraiser to benefit the Hospice House of West Virginia.

Living Waters Baptist Church will host its 10th annual poker run this Saturday.

A car and bike show will headline the event at the Linda K. Epling Stadium in Beckley.

Giveaways and kid-friendly games will be available in the afternoon, and a cash prize is up for grabs for the coolest bike or car at the show. There’s also awards and trophies for the top-40 finishers.

All proceeds from the benefit go to Hospice in the Mountain State. Pastor of Living Waters, Michael Gunnoe say it's an overlooked but needed donation.

“The doctors, the nurses, everyone that works there was so helpful explaining to the families exactly what was going on. And they not only made the patients comfortable, but they made the families feel so much better.”

Registration starts at 11 a.m. and the auction kicks off at 3:30.
