PRINCETON - A Mercer County woman was sentenced on Monday for her remaining charges after being acquitted of her attempted murder charge back in April.
33 year old Dustie Beller of Arnette has been sentenced to 1 year for her petit larceny charge on top of another year for conspiracy and misdemeanor conspiracy after a shoplifting gone-bad in February of 2013. Beller and co-defendant Brian Bailey attempted to steal a chainsaw from the Tractor Supply in Bluefield, Bailey threw the confiscated property into Beller’s jeep and ran away on foot. Beller sped off through the store parking lot, striking an employee. She was originally charged with attempted murder and malicious wounding but those charges were dropped in April of this year. After the motion for a new trial was denied on Monday in Judge William Sadler's Court, Beller will remain in Southern Regional Jail.
