MINDEN – Crews battle a trailer fire in Fayette County that officials believe was intentionally set.
Dispatchers say the call came in around 11:30 Sunday night of a fire at a residence near Rock Lick School Road in Minden.
Two area fire departments responded and cleared the scene about an hour and a half later.
This is the same home that caught fire on June 6.
Fayette County Sheriff Steve Kessler says the cause of the fire is considered part of an ongoing arson investigation that area.
“I understand that people that live there are concerned, and we're concerned too. We don't want anybody's home burning and somebody be in it, so we're taking that serious,” says Kessler.
Police urge anyone with information, or if you see something suspicious, to contact the Sheriff's Department at (304) 574-4216.
