PRINCETON – State Police are looking for two men wanted in the armed robbery of a video poker site in Mercer County.

According to law enforcement, around 11:30 Wednesday night, two white men with facial hair wearing ball caps entered Joyce's on Courthouse Road and played the machines for some time.]

Sergeant R.A. Maddy says eventually one of the men walked up front to the clerk at the register, held a knife to her throat, and duct taped her hands and legs.

They opened the safe and the register and got away with an unknown amount of money.

Police say robberies like this are increasing in the area.

“Some of these establishments, when they bring in cash money from the machines, it's inviting robberies like this to take place,” says Sgt. Maddy.

Anyone with information about these men, believe to be in their 20's or 30's, is asked to call police at (304) 425-2102.
