A fundraiser was held Saturday in Crab Orchard to help raise money for a young girl battling Epilepsy.
A craft and vendor show took place at the Crab Orchard Baptist Church to raise money for the travel and medical costs of four-year old Kaitlyn Miller. 35 vendors donated to the cause by taking part in the show. The Miller family and friends discussed the costs they face and Kaitlyn.
"What we've had to do is resort to traveling to Ohio for her medical care and we're on very expensive medications and a friend of ours had recognized that we had a financial burden from it and she offered to do some fundraising" said Jessica Miller.
"She is a sweet happy, four-year old child. She is really good friends with my daughter's and they just have so much fun playing and always give hugs and kisses. She's just a joy to be around" said Jessica Lafferty.
You can make donations to Kaitlyn's Crusade at the First People's Bank located next to the MacArthur Walmart.
