RAINELLE – 3 people are in jail after their involvement with drug activity near a Greenbrier County School.
Rainelle Police Chief J.P. Stevens tells Newswatch, Charles Wooline, 75, of Rainelle and Paula Stinnett 42, of Rainele are behind bars for drug crimes that occurred on Monday night.
Rainelle Police and Greenbrier County Deputies caught them using prescription drugs in a cemetery parking lot in Rainelle. Stevens said the pair confessed to using drugs and selling them.
The suspects said they bought pills from Mary Philips, 42, of Rainelle. Stevens adds Philips confessed to her drug involvement when officers went to her home.
Wooline and Philips are charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Stinnett is charged with possession of a controlled substance. Additional charges are pending due to the proximity of the crimes near a school all three are in Southern Regional Jail.
