KIMBALL - A Shooting investigation in McDowell County leads to the arrest of two brothers.
The McDowell County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting call in the Norwood area in Kimball. When deputies investigated the complaint they found evidence of drug paraphernalia at which time the Deputies went and obtained a search warrant for the residence. Upon completing the search warrant a large amount of Marijuana was found packaged for delivery, and a small amount of prescription medication was also found at the scene.
Corey Wilkins and Greg Wilkins both brothers that live at the residence together were arrested and charged with Felony Conspiracy and Possession with intent to Distribute a scheduled controlled substance. There bond was set at $20,000 and were remanded back to the McDowell County Holding unit awaiting transport to the South Western Regional jail.
