Staff at a local resort say trails are better maintained after a record number of people participated in a clean up.
Over 60 volunteers gathered together this weekend to help clean the bike tracks at ace adventure resort. The trails, which extend to more than 25 miles in length are one of the main attractions of the 1,500 acre resort. The clean up began Saturday morning and took place once again today. Trail supervisor Daniel Rieger says that he's happy with how the weekend played out.
"We had our largest turnout by about triple we've ever had. We had 60 volunteers working on 16 different trails here on property and it was a big success."
ACE expects to see more visitors now that the weather has finally warmed up.
