Sam's Club fundraiser for the CMN

BECKLEY - A local branch of a nationwide conglomerate is preparing for its largest money raising event that benefits children.

Sam's Club in Beckley is selling tickets for a gospel concert in May, starring the Easter family. Employees said that all Sam's Clubs engage in 6 weeks of fundraising each year to support the Children's Miracle Network. This Beckley location will be sending the proceeds from this event to Ruby Memorial Hospital. The concert will be at the Family Worship Center in Beckley on May 16th Doors open at 6 and the concert starts at 7. Becky Fox, Personnel Coordinator at Sam's Club, said this concert is their biggest undertaking so far.

"We've never hosted a concert before so this event hopes to be our largest single fund raising event for the campaign," said Fox.

Tickets are on sale and can be bought at the membership service desk at Sam's Club. You do not have to be a member to buy tickets to this event.
