Ford Sentencing Rescheduled

FAYETTEVILLE - A Fayette County man facing up to 15-years in prison on animal cruelty charges had his sentencing rescheduled Thursday morning.

Michael Ford, 57, plead guilty in February to three counts of felony cruelty to animals from an incident last October. He admitted to placing at least three cats into a wooden box and throwing them into a fire.

Ford was scheduled to appear for sentencing Thursday. Sentencing is now set for April 22nd. Ford faces three to 15 years in prison.
