Former Home Confinement Officer sentenced

PRINCETON - A former home confinement officer is sentenced after pleading guilty to sexual relations with a prisoner.

Sargent A.P. Christian with the Welch State Police Detachment tells Newswatch Blaine Franklin, 25, of Princeton is sentenced to one to five years in prison after he pleaded guilty to sexual relations with a female prisoner under his supervision, as a home confinement officer.

The case stems from reports of allegations between July and August of 2012. Christian says Franklin was arrested on August 16, of 2012.

Special Judge Rudolph Mursensky tells Newswatch Franklin remains free on bond and is scheduled to report for his sentencing April 11th.
