MERCER COUNTY – A Wednesday afternoon
house fire in Mercer County rekindled Thursday morning.
The fire started around 1:40 p.m.
Wednesday at a home on Ceres Hollow Road, according to 911 dispatchers. Five
area departments responded to the scene.
The fire started in the garage before
spreading to the home and eventually brush caught on fire, according to a
spokesperson for the Green Valley Volunteer Fire Department.
Dispatchers said the fire rekindled
around 1:40 a.m. Thursday and firefighters spent around one hour extinguishing
