UPDATE: Woman leaves the scene of an accident - drives on 3 wheels

UPDATE:

MT. HOPE - A Fayette County woman is arrested after leaving the scene of an accident and driving her car on three wheels through two cities.

Mt. Hope Police said Michelle Griffith, 43, of Oak Hill, allegedly hit a bench in Mt. Hope and continued driving her car on three wheels to an Oak Hill Trailer Park off of Summerlee Rd. Oak Hill Police and the Fire Department responded to the scene. 

Griffith was not hurt but is charged with leaving the scene of an accident with more than $1,000 property damage and failure to report an accident. More charges could be pending. 

Both the Mt. Hope and Oak Hill Police Departments are handling the investigation. Police said Griffith was arraigned in municipal court and posted her bond.

MT. HOPE - A Fayette County woman is arrested after leaving the scene of an accident and driving her car on three wheels through two cities.

Mt. Hope Police say they’re currently investigating an incident where a woman, whose identity is not being released at this time, allegedly hit a bench in Mt. Hope and continued driving her car on three wheels to an Oak Hill Trailer Park off of Summerlee Rd. Oak Hill Police and the Fire Department responded to the scene.

The woman was not hurt but is facing a leaving the scene of an accident charge. Other charges may be pending. She is currently in Southern Regional Jail.

Both the Mt. Hope and Oak Hill Police Departments are handling the investigation.
