BECKLEY - Mug shot photos are now available of two men arrested for the murder of a Kanawha County man whose body was found in Raleigh County back in October.
Deveron Patterson, of Beckley, and Miguel Quinones, of Charleston, are charged with the first-degree murder in the slaying of Kareem Hunter. Police said Patterson was arrested near his Beckley home, and Quinones was arrested in prison where he is serving time for a probation violation charge related to a Fayette County murder conviction. The pair is being held without bond.
Hunter was reported missing in early October, just days after he was last seen in Charleston with friend Kelsey Legg.
His body was discovered on Oct. 30 in Raleigh County in a shallow grave on Old Turnpike Road in Harper Heights.
Legg, 20, has remained in South Central Regional Jail since the alleged murder without bond. Police believe she's guilty of luring Hunter to her Marmet apartment to be kidnapped.
