Authorities release names of three involved in fatal car accident

BRUSHFORK - Authorities in Mercer County have released the identities of those involved in a fatal car accident Wednesday that claimed the lives of two young children.

Lt. Joe Parks with the Mercer County Sheriff's Department told Newswatch 28-year old Terri A. Wright, of Glen Lyn, Virginia,  was driving a Chevrolet when it was stuck two times by two separate vehicles on Route-52. 

Two small children, who were properly restrained, were killed in the crash. 

The driver of a Ford Ranger, Harold brown of Bramwell, was sent to the hospital for back injuries and later released. 
The third driver, 40-year-old Jackson Carter of Princeton, was not hurt in the accident. 

Wright remains in serious condition at a Roanoke hospital. State police have assigned a reconstruction expert to investigate the accident.
