ANSTED – Another drug deal gone bad lands three people behind bars in Fayette County.

Sheriff Steve Kessler says three Fayette County residents have been arrested after allegedly beating and robbing a man. The incident happened in the Ansted area on February 22.

Thomas Stull, 23, of Saturday Road told police he sold a 30 mg. Roxycodone pill to Penny Browning, 21, of Ansted.

Stull says after selling the pill, Browning and two other men, Mark Skaggs, 33, of Lansing and Aaron Ray Pack, 24, assaulted him with an ax handle and stole his money.

The three were arrested and face first-degree robbery charges, malicious wounding, and conspiracy to commit a felony.

All three are in Southern Regional Jail on $35,000 bonds each.
